Machines that help people decide and run better — not black-box autonomy that takes over the plant. An intelligent Marando machine or cell can include machine vision for inspection, guidance, and quality gates; data-ready controls (PLC, HMI, structured tags); on-premise intelligence via AetherMIP, a bolt-on option for compatible PLC-controlled equipment with hardware-enforced one-way data flow and no write-back to the controller; and human-centered design. We do not mean unsupervised autonomous production lines as the default offer.

AetherMIP — bolt-on plant-floor intelligence
AetherMIP bolts on beside a compatible PLC-controlled machine: observe live data through a hardware data diode, combine it with the machine's manuals and documentation, and answer operator questions with grounded, cited responses. Core processing stays local. There is no write path back to the controller. Available through private demos and a limited regional beta.
FAQ
Is this the same as hiring an “AI controls” integrator?
No. We design and build the machine. Intelligence — including optional AetherMIP — is part of how we equip industrial equipment, not a standalone controls brand.
Will the machine run itself?
Not the point. We build intelligent machines that amplify operators and technicians. Autonomy is a separate conversation and not the default offer.
Do I need AetherMIP?
No. Many intelligent builds start with vision, structured data, and strong HMI. AetherMIP is a bolt-on when you want on-prem Q&A and observation with hardware-enforced isolation.
